Caddie Program

Edgewood Valley Country Club has always prided itself on its strong Caddie Program, dating back to the founding of the Club in 1910. The advantages to the young men and women who become caddies at Edgewood include limitless camaraderie, the benefits of working outdoors and developing lifelong skills – all while earning a competitive wage.

At the center of Edgewood’s Caddie Program is the Club’s support of the Evans Scholarship Program. The program awards full, four-year scholarships covering tuition and housing to successful applicants and is sponsored by the Western Golf Association (WGA) and donations from member clubs. Edgewood’s Caddie Program boasts several generations of caddies and more than 100 who have gone on to receive the Evans Scholarship. Learn more about the WGA and the scholarship program at wgaesf.org.
